For foreigners living all year long in our area, we organize improvement courses, at a rate of two, to four hours per week; the goal of this course is to acquire the diploma of The Alliance Française de Paris, and is appropriate for young people from abroad at school in France, with board and lodging, or foreign long term visitors to local companies. Summer courses aim at a very practical approach to the French language. These intensive terms are for adults wishing to know more about today's France, and discover a beautiful region (see the map) at the same time. Courses can be augmented by the study of some of the most famous authors who once lived in the area, such as Ronsard, or Balzac. Winter programs include twenty hours of courses per week, and they are even more personal, because of the reduced number of students, the groups size varying from three to five students in that period. You have a free access to a tape recorder, and other professional language laboratory devices. Strictly personal courses can be organized (on demand), for specific needs, and there is also the possibility to organize meetings with local companies.

Since 1993, our French family has been providing an opportunity for those who are interested in French language and culture to come to the Loire Valley, and to improve their knowledge by staying with our family and enjoying the French way of life. Lessons within the household are provided, in the family, by an experienced teacher and include written comprehension, grammar, pronunciation and conversation (15 hours/week). The courses are adapted according to the level and the rate/rhythm of each participant. This tuition allows students to familiarise themselves with French attitudes and tastes: La Vie Française. Enjoy a French language course in France at our language school in the city of Tours.
