French is the official language of France and 27 other countries, where it is either the official language or a co-official language, including Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Haiti, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Mali, Monaco, Niger, Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Seychelles, Switzerland, Togo, and Vanuatu.
