Community Service Alliance
Community Service Alliance is an organization based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, that strives to link volunteers and students to communities and organizations in the D.R. to satisfy their needs and to facilitate life changing experience for volunteers and students alike. Our dynamic Spanish immersion programs offer participants personalized 1:1 instruction, providing flexibility to integrate personal interests and learning objectives in each class. CSA´s programs combine in-classroom instruction with field-based learning, including visits to local markets, museums, historical sites as well as learning to use the transportation system. In addition, those who meet minimum requirements are also given the opportunity to volunteer with local organizations to get a chance to put their skills into practice.

Hispaniola Spanish Language School
Our teaching method takes full account of modern didactics and is modeled on the Foreign Language Concept of the Council of Europe, observing all instructions that the Real Academia de la Lengua recommends. We use the Direct Method and at school, as during free time, spoken language is emphasized from the first day on. At all levels, only Spanish will be spoken. During free time we promote integration between students and Dominican people, organizing culture activities every nights where a number of trained Dominican friends are invited. Outside of class, the school's secretary works nonstop to keep students on top of all of the social and cultural events which the city has to offer, including many activities which students can participate in for free. The famous allure of Caribbean nights, between salsa and merengue, cuba libres and piña coladas, friendship and adventure, are all waiting for you, and you'll never be faced with the hated question: "What should we do tonight?".

Instituto de Español Santo Domingo
The Instituto de Español is situated at the beautiful beach of Las Terrenas / Playa Bonita on the Samana peninsula, and works only with up-to-date educational material and in accordance with the guidelines of Spain's Royal Academy but also respecting the characteristic idioms of Latinamerica and the Caribbean. All our teachers speak Spanish as their mother tongue and are multilingual. They all finished an academic education and have several years of experience in teaching languages.
