On Thursday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries (8/7c, The CW) Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) face the doppelganger prophecy head-on when the two begin having dreams about each other. After Elena shares the news with Caroline (Candice Accola), the two have no choice but to enlist the help of Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder).
