Justin Bieber was charged with vandalism on Friday for tagging a Brazilian building three days prior, People reports.
Rio de Janeiro police received a complaint on Tuesday about Bieber and his friends spray-painting the wall of the former Hotel Nacional. By the time authorities arrived on the scene, the singer was already gone, but photos of Bieber in action surfaced on a Brazilian news website later that day.
Police then began a three-day investigation, involving the testimony of the photographers who snapped him spray-painting, local authorities and Bieber’s security team.
