The Heartland Of Maremma
(In The Kitchen Of The Hunter And Fisherman)
Go where Natural Tuscany thrives for 9 nights at an Organic Farm and B&B situated deep/in the depths of the Maremma region in Tuscany, and 10 days of outings to explore this fascinating area, which is also one of the least developed parts of central Italy. We offer 6 Cooking classes, each entirely different in location, cuisine and instructor. In a land of hunters, there are tasty dishes of wild-boar, hare and pheasant. But there are also fish dishes which are delicate and vigorous at the same time. Then there are soups and garlic breads boasting of delicious local olive oil and innumerable cheeses and wines. Both the wines and the olive oils from this area are exceptional. There are also side trips in Maremma: travel Le Strade del Vino (The roads of the wine, with a route that takes us to the Colli di Maremma with one of the princes of Tuscan red, Morellino di Scansano; the Montegregio-Massa Marittima with examples of the Maremma's new wine growing and producing abilities and, the last founded, Montecucco with the unique flavors of a wine born on mountain slopes.

Come on an enticing 12 day trip of to the ancient island of Sicily. Taste and explore the abundance of its culinary traditions, different wines, flavors and scents of street markets. We have 5 different cooking classes in superb locations where you can discover Sicily's complex gastronomic culture with roots buried deeply in the island's history. Spend time in a grand hilltop winery and farm during grape-harvest; in the kitchen of a 1200 old Abbey of a cookbook author, in the quiet home of a famous Italian cook located on the slopes of the Etna volcano, and in a busy restaurant of one of the well known wineries. Enjoy the pristine Mediterranean sea, Greek temples, Arab and baroque architecture and much more!
