This is the selection for Speaking Practice, where you practice your speech and pronunciation. Select a number from the menu and click on the green icon with the ear, and the pleasant man on the left will pronounce the names of a sequence of pictures. Press on the red icon with the microphone, and you can record your spoken pronunciation of these items. After this, Talk Now! will play both the model's pronuncation and your own, one after the other, so you can compare the two and figure out whether your speech approximates the model.
