Sunday’s episode opened with Homer and his family making their way to the famous Ed Sullivan theatre. As Letterman waited for his guest, he was unimpressed when the family ran up on stage and sat on his couch. “I think we’re done here,” the animated Letterman says, cueing his band to play the show’s theme song.
