The Hub Network is scaring up viewers with the midseason return of its live-action series Spooksville.
Based on the eponymous book series, Spooksville follows new kid in town Adam (Keean Johnson), who discovers that he holds the key to a battle between good and evil in his bizarre supernatural-filled small town. In the upcoming premiere, Adam’s best friend Sally (Katie Douglas), while on a trip with her parents to an exclusive yacht club, discovers that an aspiring member has disappeared. To help solve the mystery, Sally enlists the help of Adam and Watch (Nick Purcha) to investigate and they soon discover that the yacht club is home to Spooksville’s latest supernatural terror: a giant mutant crab pirate.
