Each of the 36 lessons uses dialogues of real-life situations to tell the story of a foreign journalist on assignment in Rio de Janeiro and is followed by instruction and vocabulary review. Each lesson is broken down into snappy 4- to 8-minute chapters.

The lessons are in the MP4 video format, a widely used format that will run on both Windows and Mac platforms, as well as on the iPod, iPhone, and iPad. (Note: These will not run on most DVD players used with television sets; they are in a data DVD format.)

Lesson 1
